SENTENCE STRUCTURE - word order (ordstilling)Der er ofte sammenfald mellem dansk og engelsk ordstilling som det ses af flg. eks., men bemærk også at ordene ikke kan byttes rundt - de står et bestemt sted i sætningen:
dansk: han hejste et meget stort rødt flag
engelsk: he hoisted a very big red flag
